Class Descriptions
High Intensity Cardio Classes:
CardioKick—Get a great cardio workout with basic kickboxing moves. Class will focus on cardio conditioning with proper punch and kick form for additional toning benefits. End with abdominal strengthening and stretches for the total body.
Turbo Kick (Round( 38)— A high energy workout combining kickboxing, funky dance moves or athletic power moves and Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts).
Step Combo—Class will include warm up, stretch, cardio portion step, double step, low/high impact mix or dance moves, resistance training, core work for abs and back and cool down stretch. Instructors choice to diversify the class.
Interval Workout
C.S.I. Cardio, Strength Intervals—A workout that alternates basic cardio conditioning with sets of resistance training exercises for all your major muscle groups. Core strengthening and stretching concludes the class.
Tone and Sculpt Classes:
Practical Movement—Drawing from Pilates, Yoga, and Ballet, this class will work on improving strength, flexibility, body awareness and posture.
Pilates — Dynamic core strengthening exercises which create muscular balance and improve posture.
Below the Belt—30 min. A conditioning class designed to target muscle groups below the belt. Core, Hips, Glutes and relaxing stretch. Please warm-up prior to class.
Yoga-lates—A blend of yoga postures and Pilates, emphasis on breath, alignment and meditative mindfulness.
Flow Yoga—This dynamic flowing class connects movement with breath and leads you through a series of postures that will strengthen, enhance flexibility and endurance.
Piyo—A blend of Yoga, Pilates, Dance and toning to uplifting music. All levels welcome.
Scuplt & Tone—Full body muscle conditioning with weights.
Low Impact Cardio Classes:
Fit@anyAge—A combination of aerobics, strength training, stretching and balance. This class is a great starting place for any age on your journey to fitness.
Cardio Salsa—You won’t even notice that you’re exercising! This fun, energetic class builds on the basic Latin Dance moves.
Sit to be Fit—A 45 minute chair based class for the seniors.
Core, Cardio, Stretch– 15min warm up/ 25 min. cardio, i.e. CYCLE , hi/lo,
Cycle Classes
Cycle—Studio cycling classes which help build strength and endurance. 45 minutes of cycle followed by abdominal exercises and stretching.
Cycle and Condition– This class consists of 30 minutes of cycle, 30 minutes of condition; weights, core and stretching cool down.
Cycle/Ripped– Studio cycling class which includes weight training.
Call one hour before the class begins to reserve a bike: Members only, no guests when class is full)
Mind and Body
Yoga I—Designed to develop your practice by bringing awareness to your form, alignment, and technique. Experience the ability to move more deeply into your own practice within each individual posture. Breath, pain and stress management techniques will be shared to enhance wellness.
Yoga I/II—Level I/II class for those participants with some Yoga experience. Modifications will be given.
Feldenkrais- Awareness through movement. Easy and comfortable movement lessons that improve power, flexibility, balance, and energy. Eliminate pain, stiffness, mental sluggishness and emotional rigidity.
Tai Chi—An ancient, slow moving, meditative exercise and martial art. Daily practice promotes mental clarity and a healthy body. Classes consist of gentle loosening exercises, individual instruction, and correction of form
Ballet Fusion—A blend of Ballet, Yoga, And Pilates.. The emphasis is on moving as a unified whole. The entire body is worked from head to toe. Your mind and body will feel reconnected.
